Stories Mapped uses a small number of necessary and optional cookies to keep the site working, remember your choices, and enable optional analytics when you choose to allow them.

• Necessary cookies keep essential parts of the site working. This includes the secure session cookie used to remember your basket and move you through checkout.
• We also store your cookie choices in a consent cookie so the website can remember whether you accepted or rejected optional categories.
• Preference cookies may be used to remember optional site choices if those features are enabled.
• Stories Mapped also uses Umami for simple, privacy-focused website measurement. Umami is used to understand general traffic and page use and is separate from the optional Google Analytics setup.
• Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that helps tell real visitors from automated spam. It is used only to protect the form, does not track you for advertising, and runs as part of keeping the site secure.
• Google Analytics 4 is only enabled if you opt in to analytics cookies. If you agree, it helps Stories Mapped understand how people use the website and improve the experience.
• If you allow analytics cookies and arrive from one of our adverts, we also remember the campaign label in the link (for example which advert it was) for the rest of your visit, so we can tell which adverts lead to orders. This is a simple label about the advert, not information about you.
• The website does not currently use third-party advertising cookies for personalised ads. The optional marketing setting is there to respect your preference if marketing-related tools are added or expanded later.
• You can change your cookie choices at any time through the cookie controls on the site.
• If you block or remove necessary cookies, parts of the site, including basket and checkout features, may not work properly.
